Javier in The Dark Tower/ Javier en The Dark Tower

According to the New York Post Javier has signed onto The Dark Tower. He will do the first movie and the miniseries although he hasn’t confirmed his participation in the rest of the saga.

Like everything, there are many people who don’t like the choice but what do you think?

Thank Louise. She posted a link about this.  😉

I hadn’t noticed that the comments section was closed, sorry. Now it’s open

  1. I’ll be honest. I don’t know how I feel about this.

I know that the film could turn out great. But its not a role I imagined Javier in.

  2. I’m with you Louise, I really didn’t believe he would ever sign on to this project when the rumors started, but he must have good reasoning. I’m not much into the sci-fi/horror genre, I guess I will have to deal with it if I want to see Javier on screen. I just hope he gets to shoot some other films during this project.

  3. I don’t like some of the comments about Javier made by Dark Tower fans. But look how Bond fans reacted to Daniel Craig and he proved them wrong.

  4. Javier has been very careful with his choice of films. Even though it might seem odd there must be a good reason why he is going to make this film. It sounds like a challenge and he probably sees it that way. The Dark Tower fans who don’t like him as the choice for Roland should just give him a chance. He will prove them wrong because he will be great in the film.
